Mr. Jitendra Hegde

Mr. J.M.Hegde is an alumunus of D.Y.Patil Colege of Engineering , Mumbai and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics. His vision was to become an Entrepreneur in the health care sector with international recognition.

His first venture was Biomedicon Systems (India) Pvt.Ltd established in the year 1995 to trade and market Neurological and other surgical products and providing service for hospital equipments. Since then there was no looking back for him. He grew from strength to strength and established more companies and built a consortium of companies. His mission was to provide affordable world class health care products in the field of Orthopedics, Urology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and many more.

In 2006 he established Biorad Medisys in Bangalore to manufacture Surgical Devices in Urology. This was followed in 2009  by a second manufacturing facility in Pune for manufacture of Orthopedic Implants. In the same year Mr. Hegde started another company Medicon Surgical Technologies, engaged in trading of Neurological products pan India.

Today Biomedicon and Biorad Medisys group of companies are the leading manufacturers and marketers of Medical Devices in India as well as exporters of Medical Devices to more  than 50 plus countries across the world

Not the one to rest on his Laurels in 2005 Mr. Hegde  acquired a hospital in Kolhapur and metamorphosed it in to a 150 bedded NABH accredited Multi Speciality Hospital, ATHAAYU, with ultramodern equipments and state of the art ICU set up.

In 2016 he established Plasma Biotal India, a Medical Device Coating company first of its kind in the whole country.
