Job Description :

1. Take charge from the shift over driver, about the details, condition of the vehicle
2. Properly dressed with clear identity
3. Receive the intimation from the front office/out side calls, regarding the details of the patients, case, address of the same and shifting
4. Park the ambulance in a safe and suitable position for easy departure
5. Prepare the ambulance to receive the patient, opening the rear door, gathers the equipment
6. Assist the medical attendant and deal with other causalities as required by the incident
7. Before leaving the incident spot check to make sure all the equipment has been returned to the ambulance
8. Close and secure the rear door
9. Be clear about the location of the incident and nearest and safe route to take the journey
10. Observe the hi-way code road traffic rules and regulations
11. Ensure a safe, smooth and comfortable journey
12. Park the ambulance in suitable entrance to shift the patient to emergency room
13. Give return report about the drive to the Administrator
14. Always maintain the log book for the data maintaining of the services given to the patient
15. Any other responsibility assigned by the management is to be carried out.
